Eloise Expansion Project

Scope of Work

The Eloise Expansion Project is an upgrade to the Eloise Copper Mine, located near McKinlay in central Queensland, approximately 1,700 km northwest of Brisbane.

The scope of works includes a brownfield upgrade to the copper concentrator, incorporating new crushing and grinding circuit, pressure filter, and flotation and conditioning tanks.

The existing concentrator operates at a nominal throughput of 650 ktpa, with infrastructure supporting up to 725 ktpa. The integration of Jericho ore requires an increase in throughput to 1.1 Mtpa. The process plant design emphasises capital efficiency, leveraging a “fit-for-purpose” equipment selection, advanced process control systems enabling new maintenance strategies aligning with contemporary standards to maximise operability and maintainability.

GR Engineering has been appointed as the EPC contractor, responsible for the full delivery of the processing plant upgrade. This includes project management, detailed engineering design, procurement, construction supervision, and commissioning.
