Company News

GR Engineering Services have received a "Letter of Conditional Award" from Catalpa Resources Limited (ASX: CAH), which permits GRES to commence detailed process plant engineering, procurement and construction and refurbishment planning activities for the 2.8 – 3.2 Mtpa gold processing facility for Catalpa’s Edna May Operations. The letter of award followed Catalpa Resources’ announcement of Environmental Mining Approvals for the project on 26th May 2009.

This announcement signals the commencement of planning activities to enable GR Engineering to meet a construction and commissioning schedule resulting in first gold production by mid 2010.

The Edna May Operation is located in the eastern wheat belt of Western Australia, 312 km east of Perth and approximately 1.0 km north of the township of Westonia.

GRES looks forward to continuing working closely with Catalpa Resources Limited to ensure a successful project outcome.
