Dismantling and removal of New Celebration gold processing plant completed ahead of schedule

On 29 May 2008 Integra Mining Limited announced that the dismantling and removal of their gold processing plant from the New Celebration site had been completed one month ahead of the scheduled practical completion date of 30 June 2008.

The scope of work completed by GR Engineering Services included the demolition, salvage and removal from the New Celebration site of all mechanical and electrical equipment, structural steel, platework, electrical cable and other sundry items, with the site left clean and level at top of concrete.

Major components such as ball mills and crusher units have been transported into storage in Kalgoorlie ready for refurbishment.  Other components such as structural steel, conveyors, pumps, agitators and electrical control equipment have been transported to the Aldiss-Randalls site ready for refurbishment and installation.
