GRES awarded Phillips River feasibility study for Tectonic Resources

Tectonic Resources NL (ASX: TTR) today announced the appointment of GRES as lead consultant and study manager for the Phillips River feasibility study. Phillips River is located 20 km southeast of Ravensthorpe. The feasibility study will focus on the development of the Trilogy and the Kundip deposits.

The Trilogy deposit is a significant copper and gold rich (50% by value) poly-metallic resource of 6,240,000 tonnes at 1.0% copper, 0.8g/t gold, 47g/t silver, 2.0% lead and 1.2% zinc. The Kundip gold copper deposit currently hosts a resource of 4,230,000 tonnes at 4.3g/t gold and 0.5% copper for 590,000 oz gold and 20,000 copper tonnes.

Tectonic have announced that GRES’ successful track record of study completion and project development provided a significant degree of confidence as to the accuracy of the feasibility study and project execution strategies to be developed as part of the study.

The study will be completed by the end of 2010.
