GR Engineering Services were awarded a design and construct contract by Kimberley Nickel Mines Pty Ltd to supply a continuous production paste backfill plant for the Sally Malay nickel mine. The mine is located approximately 120 km north of Halls Creek in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
The project team has completed the works without a single medical treatment or lost time injury and achieved Practical Completion three weeks and four days ahead of schedule. This is an outstanding result and congratulations to Andrew Bennett, Bill Gosling, Steve Walton and the entire design and construction team for their efforts.
