Scope of Work
 

GR Engineering was engaged by PT BTR to undertake the engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) of an upgrade to the SXEW copper plant at the Wetar Copper Project, located on Wetar Island in Maluku province, Republic of Indonesia. The project involved the provision of EPCM services associated with the refurbishment and recommissioning of the 18Ktpa SXEW plant formerly operated at Whim Creek in Western Australia, which when combined with existing processing infrastructure is intended to process 1.65Mtpa of sulphide ore and produce 25Ktpa of LME A grade copper cathode. GR Engineering undertook this project through its wholly owned Indonesian subsidiary, PT GR Engineering Services Indonesia.
